Position Description

The Website Team is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and evolving the Minnesota Furs website. This includes designing and wire-framing new features or redesigns, managing content updates, and/or developing new functionalities in a PHP-based environment. The team plays a critical role in ensuring the website remains functional, user-friendly, and up to date, aligning with the organization’s goals and community needs. Want to learn new technologies and skills? This is a great opportunity. We’re looking for three positions within this project. Designer, Content Manager, and Developer(s). The website would be built upon our existing PHP/Wordpress platform.

This is an upcoming/ongoing project to revamp the mnfurs.org website and other side projects involving the website, including integration between mnfurs.org and the discord server. Other duties include:

• Collaborate on creating mock-ups and wireframes for new website designs or feature updates to improve user experience (Designer/Development).
• Manage and update website content to reflect current events, community activities, and relevant information (Content Manager).
• Develop and maintain website features in a PHP-based environment, ensuring smooth operation and scalability (Development).
