Position Description
Furry Migrations is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Video Production Team as a Volunteer Video Production Team Member. This role is instrumental in capturing and delivering high-quality video content during our events, ensuring an engaging and memorable experience for attendees. As a Video Production Team Member, you will work closely with our main stage tech crew, operating cameras, managing video mixing software, and setting up equipment to facilitate seamless video production.

Responsibilities
1. Camera Operation:

a. Operate video cameras to capture live event proceedings, ensuring optimal framing, focus, and exposure. - b. Collaborate with the team to plan camera placements for diverse shots and angles.
- c. Adjust camera settings as needed to maintain video quality.
2. Video Mixing Software Operation:

a. Utilize video mixing software, such as vMix (Professional alternative to OBS), to manage live video feeds, multiple camera angles, overlays, transitions, and effects. - b. Coordinate with the main stage tech crew to integrate video elements seamlessly into the event production (Primarily audio).
3. Equipment Setup and Maintenance:

a. Set up and configure equipment required for video production, including XLR cables, SDI video runs, cameras, and tripods. - b. Ensure all video equipment is functioning correctly and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the event.
- c. Assist with the teardown and storage of equipment after the event concludes.
4. Collaboration and Communication:

a. Work closely with the Video Production Team Lead and other team members to execute the video production plan effectively. - b. Communicate effectively with the main stage
